Pimples Problems

Pimples are small skin lesions or inflammations of the skin. They are sebaceous glands (oil glands) infected with bacteria, swell up, and fill up with pus.

Pimples occur when the sebaceous glands become overactive. Most vulnerable parts are the face, back, chest and shoulders.

Causes of pimples
The sebaceous glands (exist inside the pores of our skin) produce sebum. The outer layers of our skin are shedding continuously. Blockage in the pore occurs when dead skin cells are left behind and coalesce due to the sticky sebum.

Prompt treatment can prevent the risk of severe acne development. Severe acne may result in visible scars on the skin.
